Its design comes from the BALTARD architect who built between 1869 and 1873. This building gave identity to the popular district of Wazemmes, with an outstanding internal market and an adjacent outdoor market and different businesses that have moved around. This building has undergone two renovations, the first in 1971 and the second, more recent, in 2002.
