La vieille bourse in Lille

"La Vieille Bourse de Lille", is undoubtedly one of the most prestigious monuments of the capital of Flanders, it has been named like that since the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the city was built in 1910. It lies between the Grand Place and the Theater (or Place de l'Opera), it reflects the economic activity of Lille during the "Grand Siecle". The building is actually a nest of 24 identical houses containing a courtyard, where bookshops owners, florists, chess players and tourists meet each others.
