The Museum of the hospice Comtesse de Lille was founded by the Countess Joan of Flanders in 1237 in his own palace, it was subsequently transformed into a hospice after the revolution, then in orphanage after the war of 14-18. The present buildings (XV and XVII century) are perfect examples of the Lille architecture but they are not original, because the original building was destroyed in a fire in the fifteenth century.
